Samenvatting

The project aims to analyse options for nutrient recovery from oil palm biomass and Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) and to assess how these technologies could be integrated into an economically viable production chain. Following technology development, the project will further support the formation of a consortium which will develop, test and exploit nutrient upgrading technologies that may be linked to existing commercial digester business chains in Indonesia as well as elsewhere.
